Calling All Writers And Bloggers! I Am Requesting Your Help
This week I am calling on writers and/or bloggers experienced with SEO and online marketing that are willing to help me with survey I need to conduct for my final project in class.
As most of you have read in my byline, I am a college student. My current class is Business and Professional Writing and I have to create a formal report as well as a power point presentation for my final project. The topic I chose is “developing training for a new skill needed at work.” I know how important search engine optimization and online marketing is when you are creating an online presence, but many new to the field of writing/blogging do not, and that is the main reason I chose the topic.

The audience is new writers or bloggers. The focus is how quality content, online marketing, and using search engine optimization can increase traffic to their site.
I will be doing online research, but a survey with at least five responses is also required. This is where you guys come in. I know I am asking a lot but I am hoping to get at least five people to provide answers to the questions/statements listed below:
- How long have you been a blogger/freelance writer?
- Did you use SEO and/or social networking sites to market your blog/web site when you first started?
- If not, what was the traffic to your page like?
- If yes, how long have you been using SEO and/or social networking sites to market your business?
- Has there been a noticeable difference in traffic or increase private clients/sales before using SEO and marketing and after using it?
- If you would like to provide a percentage of increase in traffic feel free to do so, if not that is okay too.
- If you would also like to stress any key points in using SEO and social networking sites to market your business it would also be appreciated.
Well, I think that is all I need. Let me thank anyone that chooses to participate in this survey in advance. It is truly appreciated!
In answering these questions you may even help others realize how beneficial these skills can be as well as discover areas in which you can improve.
