Introducing (Drumroll, Please) Dana Britt, Staff Writer

The Blue Inkwell just keeps growing and growing…like a noxious weed with oh-so-pretty flowers…threatening to take over the entire backyard of the writing world. (Yes, folks. That is the plan…to slowly take over the world. Moowah-ha-ha Moowah-ha-ha.)

I am continually amazed by where this tiny little blog has gone in the last year or so. So many wonderful writer/readers, novices hoping for a future in publishing, and folks who have graciously allowed me to call them friend. It utterly amazes me that this little chickenshit writer might have something to say that other people are interested in hearing…well, okay, reading.

One of those wonderful fellow writer types, Dana Britt, has come to be such an incredible source of positive energy and spirit-uplifting that I count myself truly blessed to call her friend. You’ve seen Dana around the blog the last couple of months, guest posting on all sorts of cool writerly-type topics. She’s quite the talented writer, with a truly wonderful outlook on life and working as a writer. Always the professional, always the team player, and as I said, quite talented, Dana’s not afraid to have a little fun with her writing too.

With a complete writer package like that, I’d be crazy not to ask her to be a permanent part of The Blue Inkwell. So I did just that…and I am tickled shitless to announce….

drumroll, please Maestro…

So now you’ll get to “see” Dana here on The Blue Inkwell every month – twice a month, until she gets tired of us lunatics and runs screaming for the hills, ripping her hair out and begging for her very own cotton I-love-me jacket and rubber room.

Help me give Dana a warm, loving (if not slightly neurotic) welcome! We’re so glad to have her here as a regular staff writer. You’ll see her on the staff page soon, and then every month, twice a month, she’ll offer her insight, advice, and considerable positive energy to the blog!
