When I read something informative that offers great advice, I want to share it with you. I cannot offer any better advice on the financial aspect of running a freelance writing business. John Scalzi shares information that I think all writers, especially those just starting out, should read. Actually, John’s advice can be applied to any freelance business.
Remember, freelancing is a business; your business. It should be treated that way. It is easy to let the freedom and flexibility of the work to take over, but if you’re not taking your freelance writing business seriously, no one else will. This could hinder your ability to make good money. We don’t want that, do we? Yeah, I didn’t think so.
