Vicci Martinez: Another Great Voice

Vicci Martinez: Another Great Voice

This week is another “just for fun” post involving performances from the show The Voice. A big congratulations is in order for Dia Frampton from my post last week!  Dia is moving on to the semi-finals along with another unique voice on Team Blake, Xenia!

Both powerhouse voices on team Christina, Frenchie Davis and Beverly McClellan, are also moving on.

Contestants from team Cee Lo and team Adam performed last night, but the best performances came from the very powerful voices of Jeff Jenkins and Javier Colon from team Adam, and Nakia and Vicci Martinez from team Cee Lo. I hope to see these four joining the others in the semi-finals.

Jeff, Javier, and Nakia all did outstanding, but I do not necessarily have a favorite performance from last night as far as the individual contestants go. I really enjoyed Vicci Martinez’s performance of “Joleen.” She put a lot of emotion into her rendition of the song and it’s one I will be adding to my play list. Team Cee Lo kept their performance fun and entertaining, and team Adam added a very talented high school gospel choir to their performance.

I thought all three performances were very entertaining,  so without further ado, here are my choice performances from last night:

Vicci Martinez – Joleen

Team Cee Lo – Everyday People

Team Adam – With A Little Help From My Friends

If you also watch The Voice, who is your favorite contestant so far? Who do you predict to be the winning team?
